That’s why Dr. Thomas Zielke joined the ITU Global Youth Summit in a panel discussion on how to engage young minds for an inclusive digital transformation! Thomas Zielke had a great discussion with the Youth Envoys Sophiyat Sadiq, Francis Xavier Inyangat, Antonia Baskakov, Franka Weckner, Maximilian Zuber as well as Florian Spiteller from the German Commission for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies - DKE.

Standardization needs to include the perspective of young entrepreneurs, innovators and changemakers, especially those from developing countries. Thomas Zielke’s goal is to encourage youth participation in ITU programs as well as events and activities. Furthermore, he wants to include the perspective of the young generation when developing and implementing the ITU strategic plan.
